We don't have a "special plan" but I have a friend that does...

and I think Aussie said he did.

My friend had many brown outs but usually didn't last a long period time. From what I know about our power grid, it's a matter of going down for sometimes up to 6 hours, etc. but those usually come from Edison not a weather event.

We occasionally have had a few blackouts and when looking outside our neighborhood is dark but at a cross street downhill from us, they had power, lights, etc.

So we must be in some neighborhood grid for short term outages while Edison switches power within the grid.

PG&E doesn't service the entire state. We have Edison
that is our electricity server.
