Strong was a good hire. Didn't work out. Herman was a good hire. UT was way

too impatient. I hope that comes back to bite them in the a$$.

Sark could prove to be a good hire. Great offensive mind and stud recruiter. He has a chance to become, in my mind, a Lincoln Riley or a toned-down Dabo. I know that is a high bar to reach. I'm not saying he will win like those guys. I'm saying Sark could recruit like crazy and with his offensive acumen, build a steady pipeline of great talent who produce. The key will be how well UT recruits and develops defensive talent.

To address one point, I liked Sark for CU because I wasn't hearing the names I wanted to hear who were being considered. He was one of the best choices, easy. KD was a big letdown for me (at the time).

Dorrell is a much safer choice, yes, but in the end, because of the profession, he will be largely judged on....wins and losses. We all want a man of character leading but I don't see many people here (me included) who are hey, "just do your best, you'll always get a trophy, orange slices and pizza and ice cream after games here." This board wants to win. :)
