CU is a perfect match
for many coaches, just not ones that are expected to build this program to the stature it enjoyed in the 1990's (over 20 years ago). And I see no relationship in overcoming his issues and taking a crappy (in comparison) CU head coaching job.
Do you think taking the CU job would have been some sort of penance for problems stemming from his alcohol addiction? He's going to battle this forever, and yet he has to prove something to you and other fans for some reason?
