Colorado, even with sending $50 million away, save money if Arenado decided to stay because he could not get a better contract offer when his opt-out arrived.

Now me, I'm extremely disappointed. Colorado gave away so much value for a garbage pail of low-level prospects. Plus, Arenado was one of the few reasons to watch and follow the Rockies.
