They've transitioned from a local embarrassment to a national one. Grand accomplishment.

But hey, the team was bought for $95M and is now worth $1.3B. Which is really all they've cared about since the beginning. That buys Charlie all the fine hooch he needs.

As long as suckers keep paying to see this trash heap (or hang out at the Rooftop), they're laughing all the way to the bank. As for Bridich, he's a cheap version of Theo Epstein...again, typical Monforts. As a GM, it's always a good idea to piss off your franchise player.

I'll never buy tickets from these boobs again. When the Phillies come to town, I go to StubHub.
