Not exactly Kennedy, a little dark for my taste.

"Few people in our nation's history have been more challenged or found a time more challenging or difficult than the time we're in now." (Yeah, that Lincoln and FDR guy had it a bit tougher to name a couple.) And "Our history has been a constant struggle between the American ideal that we all are created equal, and the harsh ugly reality that racism, nativism, fear, demonization have long torn us apart." (Hope we don't have four years of "How much America has fallen short.")

I would give it a B.
