That it seems possible that KD might stick around, and not bolt at the first sign of success. I think showing CU as something other than a graveyard or a stepping stone for coaches will go far in improving the long term national perception.
MMT always felt a bit like a used car salesman to me, with antics like promising kids retired jerseys-that kind of nonsense would never go on at blue blood programs and showed a lack of respect for the school’s history. His whining about the OOC schedule strength made it seem to me like his main concern was padding his record. Did anyone doubt that he wouldn’t leave after a little success?
KD isn’t a complainer and looks for solutions rather than excuses. Of course ultimately he has to win, but thus far he’s proven to be better than most of his predecessors at that as well.
