Over 4 years, O'Brien shot 34% from 3. 200-587. His senior
year, his percentage was down in that he was often double teamed. He probably took a lot of forced shots, which Tad will not allow. He was basically all Columbine had last year and they needed him to try and score, which can lead to a lot of bad shots.
He's a much better shooter than your small sample shows. That being said, he'll need to work hard to be consistent in college.
Tad has developed a lot of guys into becoming more efficient shooters like Collier, George King, Dinwiddie, Schwartz. Levi shot well because he took good shots. If O'Brien does that he could become a more athletic Blair Wilson.
O'Brien will be playing with a lot talent, some solid inside players like Battey/Walker/Lovering and slashers like DaSilva, Quincey Allen, Clifford, so he can spot up and take shots when in rhythm. That could be the same for Julian Hammond. He's already a decent shooter for Creek, but has more talent around him.
