No. Because it's possible with effective leadership

I hear you about the challenges but not every NCAA tournament program started life on second base. They developed to get there.

If there are low standards then that's what will materialize.

Did you know, in football, Florida State, once a women's college, was a nobody until Bobby Bowden turned it into a monster. I doubt that program was flush with cash before it's success.

Georgetown, before John Thompson, was not a powerhouse. Thompson made it so.

Was Gonzaga always an elite program? Mark Few turned it into one, not the admin.

Look at Missouri now. It's an afterthought of a program. Look what Norm Stewart did there though.

OU is ok but it's a football school. When Billy Tubbs made it a basketball school too when he was there.

Was Oregon always good? Yes, great money there NOW but it's Dana Altman who has built it.

Look at Georgia Tech. They are not much of a program. Yet when Bobby Cremains was there, it was really good.

Calipari took Memphis to a championship game I believe.

How did Brad Stevens take Butler to two Final Four's and what, one or two Finals? I can't recall.

Florida was and is a football school but when Billy Donovan was there? Two championships.

Tad is good. The best ever at CU but his team's only travel so far. For the really good talent he brings in he also brings in too many guys who struggle to even play at this level.

The Buffs are good. We enjoy it. But why not realize a little better is possible?
