I know about the "odd duck" sculpture and you wanted to add my Jason to it but I said he had no ties to Colorado and you should leave it for them. I don't remember you saying it was called "odd duck" only that it was a duck made from colored tiles which very much appealed to my artistic side but still felt I was intruding in your son's tribute.
I am so, so tired and every day there is more to deal with, but always, always, just like your Alan, Jason is always there, whether up front like his birthday or anniversary dates or just a memory that comes out of nowhere and no matter how much time goes by, it is always there, waiting.
With all the craziness going on now, I'm just trying to get through day by day as most of us are now.
But I know those memories both good and awful when it comes to the Mission Inn will be with you forever.
