I liked Ricardo, just didn't love him. The Buffs job was really hard then

Rico made it competitive but much like we see with Tad you clearly saw what CU was not going to be. There was a lower ceiling with Patton. I think Tad COULD get CU to a Sweet 16 one day. I never thought Patton could get the Buffs to a conference title or Sweet 16. Now with TB, I don't see conference titles (plural) or an Elite 8 or continual Sweet 16's being possible. That will require a new coach. And no, I don't "hate Tad" for anyone who believes what I just wrote translates to hating Tad. He's the best CU MBB coach in my lifetime. He just isn't the guy to help CU move up the ladder.
