AOC said something along the lines of they are rioting because they can’t feed their children. The DA in Portland dropped all charges against rioters. There were several state senators in Illinois, Michigan and other places where they condoned the behavior. The mayor of Portland was marching with protestors, though I assume he stopped that when they got to his condo.
