Colorado Springs is a great place for the Space Force when you consider Peterson Air Force Base, NORAD and the Air Force Academy are all located there.
I think back how lucky I was to call Colorado Springs my home town. The house was only about a mile from the Academy south entrance. Played a lot of golf with good old Dad on the Air Force Academy courses. He was a member there until he gave up playing at a great age. His 3 good buddies in his usual foursome had passed away. A beautiful setting. Everything is pretty much restricted since 9-11.
