Are there worse things than killing others?

Amazingly, a subset of this board continues to view COVID restrictions solely for how they impact them, and their loved ones, ignoring the risk of contagion that could kill others. What if 93's MIL picks up COVID on her trip, goes back to CA, and infects one of her senior friends, who then dies from COVID. Only a supremely selfish mind would view that outcome as being better the MIL being lonely on Thanksgiving.
