I suppose if the player was a significant, reliable piece, that could be


a smart decision.

Denver needs help. What bothers me most is how LA dominated Denver. That can't happen. The Nuggets achieved much in the playoffs but we're sloppy in the bubble coming down the stretch and so close to being run out gyms vs. the Jazz and Clippers until the Lakers did just that.

I look at Bol and I see a guy who can not only get his shot but is very skilled. He can do what Jerami Grant won't - rebound. He can be consistent I believe. He is difficult to shoot over and he will be able to score. That's a lot to give up.

Yet, yes, his body is a little too lean and Bol is more athletic than explosive, likely to struggle on defense (ugh) and I'm not sure he has the drive to maximize his potential.

Hopefully he stays healthy and really shows he can be a good player in the next year or two.

If Denver deals him it has to be for equally high skill and potential.
