Why was Noyer not starter before?

Noyer does 2 things. He throws the ball at the moment of truth and does not hesitate. How many times over the past few years have you said out loud, "Throw the ball" during a pass play?
The quarterback obviously hesitated at the moment of truth and ended up with a broken play disaster.

He also runs with authority. How many times did you see a slide before the yards that were needed over the past few years?

Coaches are paid good money to see to it that a player does what he is supposed to do or make a change to someone who will.
