Both points are valid - big men dev and offensive flatness

I've been very frustrated with both of these things. I joke (with some truth) that our offense looks like KU in 1980. Times are different, and I don't think Tad has adjusted well. He's a proud man who has done great things here, but he's got to be open to a different approach on offense. His teams are boring to watch, especially late in the season when the defenses know what's coming at them.

As for big man development, it's fact. When he's recruited big men (not common) they don't seem to get better as upperclassmen. Josh Scott was the exception, but Josh was an exceptional Buff.

I'm on the side of better assistants. Any good manager knows, you surround yourself with people smarter than you. I don't buy the salary argument. There are plenty of smart basketball people out there - just gotta find them, help their career along.
