You can't terminate a contract "for cause" because he doesn't make the NCAA tournament or is losing games. Otherwise we would never had paid McIntyre $7.5M (or whatever it was). Now, if Boyle gets caught snorting white lines off the back side of one of the cheerleaders, then he can be terminated for cause.

I understand the frustration. What I would like is if they could come up with some cash and hire a good offensive bench coach and a better recruiter. Help Boyle be better, not start over. I read a NBA draft piece on Bey the other day that mentioned that Boyle is considered one of the top defensive coaches in the NCAA and therefore, when you draft one of his players, they tend to come to the league with a good defensive pedigree. If we could just get him some help for the offense.
