I remember the night before the election in 2016

Had dinner with my uncle in Orange County. Don't get to see him very often, but was in town for work.

During dinner we started discussing the election.

He said, "if the unthinkable happens, which no one expects, I'm going to sell my home and move the Canada" I told him there was no way the election would go that way. But he reiterated, he was serious. He would sell his home and move north.

He then said, "if Hillary wins, I'm out of here" I then realized we were talking about two different results of the election.

It also taught me that both sides of an election firmly believe the other is wrong, and their side is correct. I continuously have to remind myself that friends and family you love, can have a differing opinion.
