Always surprised more don't vote


If we get 50% to vote it is seen as a success. Often is more like 33%.

It is so important to exercise this right to vote, regardless of what your belief and preference is.

Was in Peru 4 years ago during their election. All eligible voters are required to vote. 100%. If you don't get ticket / fine. Not a huge fine, but still something they collect. Not sure that is the right approach either.

This year will set some new records with early and total voting.
