No doubt he's a quality two-way player yet when I look at
the contract term and financial investment, I pause.
Defensively, he's known to be good and offensively he's better than Gary and Will. He's also a player who is 31, I believe and I'm like how is he and his contract going to age? We saw what happened with Millsap. He was an asset but never the player he was in Atlanta or Utah.
Not that 31 is old but not every player is LeBron James, still as good now as ever.
I like Holiday yet at what cost of financial flexibility and draft capital. I also have a problem, and this is just me, of Denver not valuing draft capital, even if they're picking in the 20s. I'd trade the pick for the right player but a draft pick and the afore-mentioned concerns make me hesitate.
I respect though that you see Holiday's plusses and a great fit. :)
