I get the skepticism, and clearly gambling and other $ interests

Have the potential to corrupt any sport. Referees are probably the only viable entry point though for fixers - the players already make too much guaranteed money to risk their careers on a fix and I think you'd have a lot more tell-alls once they were out of the league.

That said, Adam Silver is clearly one of the lizard people, so there may be a higher order on a cosmic magnitude that I'm just not understanding. :)
