Do the flu numbers include all deaths triggered by the flu?
In a recent kerfuffle, statistics came out showing only 6% of covid deaths were covid only. Everyone argued that comorbidity didn't matter because covid was still the trigger that exacerbated the existing condition to the point of death. Is that same principle applied to calculating the annual death rates from the common flu?
