of the reactionary fervor comes from evangelicals. What pushed them to such extremes? Was it their intensity to criminalize abortion again? Or the intensity against LGBT rights? Or a belief in a conspiracy about the Clintons belonging to a Satanic cult? I wonder if we will really ever know.
