You're not alone

So much more to do that what a football game on Saturday morning, afternoon, evening, during the week, etc. CU football and basketball and the local NBA team, which is much less important now.

My guess is that the break in televised and live sports will in general hurt the industry, as people do know there are many other things to do. Local hiking, biking, bmx, walking trails and every lake activity is up considerably. I don't see too many people in general trading fresh air for a TV, and not nearly as many CU fans attending live games. Alabama and the powers have waiting lists years long for tickets, they'll still pack the stadium but the marginal, or down right bad teams like CU may have a tough time getting fans to return.
