I have a feeling it will be a moot point.

My guess as to how this plays out
1) Practices are going to start
2) Every school is going to start having massive amounts of positive tests
3) Schedules will start to shuffle
4) Starting games in September will be impossible
5) Debates will start over whether or not it is even worth it to have a 5 game season or to just put the whole thing on hold until next year (only the SEC will say it is)
6) NFL draft 2021.

The one thing that I think brings this all to a screeching halt: Some college athlete getting REALLY sick. It seems certain that the vast majority of these kids who get COVID will just get over it and be fine. But if one kid gets a really bad case and has a really tough time (like ICU bad), I think it all falls apart.

Agreed. Knee jerk reactions are common now. -- TBonePickens 07/30/2020 2:46PM
