My son broke his leg before his junior year


Broke his shin bone during the last practice before their last game. Shin bone broken completely thru and the coaches told him to get up and walk it off. I wasn’t there but another players mom who is an RN knew something was wrong and intervened. I was furious when she told me how the coaches reacted.

He decided not to play the next season so he could stay healthy for baseball. I was very relieved...and I was coaching at the time.
