The phrase "race card" is so offensive

When people use that term I just want to smack them in the face. It connotes that Black people have this strategic illegitimate "go to" excuse that the only bring out when nothing else will work. The "race card" metaphor is that when a black person says something is racist it is like playing cards and holding that one card in your hand that you know will win the game and not playing it until you realize its your only chance to win.
Really offensive
