I am now a bigger Ian Desmond fan. We all talk about the family structure suffering but here's a guy who honors his and I honor him. As far as the clubhouse stuff, it's true. In 1972 & 73 I was witness to a lot of what I'm sure he's talking about when I was in the minors for the Red Sox. Continuous boring bus rides and staying in dumpy motels in small towns there was a lot of tension between competing players. But it went both ways which is not talked about. Not a good time the minors back then so I moved to Aspen and met my wife and life.
