I liked most of what he had to write and respected his viewpoint.
It was well done.
He is advocating for others and part of his story was of heartbreak.
The other truth is he's been robbing the Rockies with his substandard play. Most fans moan over hearing his name.
His talk about more racial representation in front offices is to be respected. His talk of how expensive it can be to play is understandable yet not all MLBs came from "privilege."
What I didn't agree with was opportunity is holding back minorities in baseball. That sport is much tougher to get to the majors and make money. The NFL and MLB in my observation is where more kids gravitate to pursue dreams. It's not baseball isn't available to them. They just prefer football and basketball more.
