Yes, I was still in contract and it was much more work than being in class.

By that I mean time wise. I was on the phone or FaceTime with students a lot. I didn’t mind at all because their learning was important and this was the only way it was going to work. There were several teachers who did nothing or almost nothing. PE guy didn’t contact my son for the entire 8 weeks. I thought he could have come up with at home workouts for kids to do or something. I don’t know how the woods classes or other shop classes would have been able to do much. It would have taken some stretching on their part for sure. I don’t know what they would do if we start out online. I would probably have my kids not take the classes that teachers weren’t going to be able to interact.
