The media will try its hardest to keep schools from opening in the fall. Kids are better off on campus than at home with parents, especially older parents and grandparents at risk. The teachers and staff at risk can decide for themselves but those that want to stay shut in can send lectures in via video.
What would be worse is when a 'surge' is discovered and it WILL happen, they panic and send everyone home. Do you think kids coming home from a 'hot spot' to parents and older folks is a smart thing? Keep them at school and they will prevail and work through it. Hospitals are more than ready.
