I tried not to make any assumptions

Instead, I was just trying to restate an opinion of an expert epidemiologist.

I would steer clear from listening to politicians, university presidents, or soccer managers on how this disease will shake out over the next few months. I would also steer clear of opinions of medical doctors who's expertise is not infectious disease. While an cardiologist's opinion might be more sound than an opinion from netbuffs on what is wrong with my knee, I would still see an orthopedic surgeon before scheduling an ACL surgery.

We have heard all kinds of forecasts in the past month, including the economy will reopen by Easter, to MLB will start May 1st to the NBA will be playing by July 1st. None have been correct. What suggests to you that anything will be different?

Like I said in my previous message, I hope we do have football in the fall. It just doesn't seem likely based on what the infectious disease folk are saying. I also don't see kids on campus this fall. Will that bankrupt a lot of universities? Yep, just like it has hundreds of far more important industries.
