compensation for providing games to bet on. I think the NBA deal is 4% of the handle. There is a school of thought that a super conference will be the future of CFB. There is a group of schools that drive the sport, similar to the 80/20 rule but reversed. They want more say and want to keep more of revenue. Right now, it is mostly whispered, but it is out there.

I have read betting projections but many seem like pie in the sky. $2Bn would equate to $62.5 per school in a 32 team super conference. It would be interesting to know what the take of CFB is in Vegas as compared to the pro sports handle. Maybe some of the bettors here know that?
