CU is not unlike most pac12 teams.

they are inconsistent but so is just about anybody in the conference. I think Zona and Oregon are probably the class of the conference and a small cut above the others.

The problem with CU being so inconsistent is with all the returning experience, you would think that shouldn't be the case. But again, CU's talent level is probably middle of the pack in the conference. UCLA has more talent than CU, they're just young and going thru coaching transition.

Last night's game was lost because of effort. CU came out expecting UCLA to lay down. The Bruins didn't. They played aggressive and on defense made the Buffs feel em. In the first half i counted 4 bruins steals outside the 3 point line because they jumped passing lanes, or pressured the ball. not until the 2nd half, when schwartz was aggressive did i CU fight and push back a little. Unfortunately a 15 point deficit is hard to overcome. Also CU panicked at the end, couple bad decisions by wright, gatling w/ terrible turnover, bey falling down on drive for no apparent reason, missed FT's and Siewert missing open 3 thwarted any kind of comeback.

i give UCLA credit for playing hard and taking it to CU. I think the book is out on the Buffs. Pressure them defensively. Collectively we don't handle it well. CU is going to have to make teams pay for that aggression. No time for the timid. Guys need to do some soul searching, play w/ same confidence they have at home on the road and finish this thing out.
