Ralphie . . .

We are in agreement on the Colorado issue. You are right we have minimal hoops talent yearly and we usually see the best kids leave Colorado. But for Chauncey, Josh Scott, maybe Dom Collier or Blair Wilson, or even Levi Knutson, I cannot think of any Colorado kid who has arrived in Boulder and played any sort of significant role. We get our players outside Colorado for good reason.

The talent pool, however, is not my issue. The issue is what we are doing with it. If the argument is TB is doing as much with this program as the program allows him to do given its geographic and historical limitations, okay. Then we can say Tad is the king of the middling conference teams stuck in relative mediocrity. I don't buy that and I am not going to hook my wagon to the notion Tad has been amazing or "real good" ever. Reasonable minds can disagree on this but I can't look at one tourney win in nine years and say that's a function of where we play ball.

We are also in agreement as to our desires for this program. Sadly, I don't think either of us will see greatness in the program.
