the first was before the KU game. It was interesting to see how Tad was implementing the defense to contain KU's big guy. When i watched the game, the team actually executed the D on the KU big pretty well. He wasn't much of factor.
then this week I watched Tad drill his team on the pick and roll defense needed against UO. I was amazed how well the team executed this against oregon. Tad was really concerned about Oregon getting easy plays at the rim and open 3's. You can probably count on one hand how many of either the Ducks had all night. It was brilliant coaching and fantastic execution. I don't think the question is whether Tad can coach. HE CAN! I think the bigger question is can Tad consistently recruit at the level needed to be a top 4 team in PAC year in and year out.
If this season continues to go like it is, I sure hope it pays dividends on the recruiting trail.
