He did have a confluence of good players, esp. in the defensive backfield


And he has a rough reputation. Yet I think in the right environment, he can certainly coach.

At FSU, he has more talent than he did at CU. He should definitely improve their performance. They need him.

He scored big by taking the money at Oregon but if he stayed, maybe MM is still here or maybe JL could have been considered for the head job. But now he's scrapping.
