What do you think Nebraska's game plan will be in all facets of the game?
Last year they pressured Montez hard and to a degree succeeded. Yet CU did hurt the Huskers badly in the passing game.
Last year Nebraska bullied the Buffs OL at times, especially as CU tried to run the ball.
The Huskers did score off turnovers and special teams last week.
My gut says Nebraska will defense Viska somewhat like CSU did, to slow him and will be very physical with him. I believe they will also will try to crush the run and make Montez beat them, thinking that's their best game plan. Of course, they want to hit Montez often, hit him hard and push him off his spot.
On offense, they definitely want to be physical, hit assignments and run the ball down CU's throats, and take big shots down the field (which they might come out doing at first with CU and the home crowd being overflowing with adrenaline).
Special teams will be huge, I believe in this game and CU has to make that their advantage in all aspects.
The Buffs D has to be more prepared, in position, and play smarter technical football. With better coaching and execution, I think the D won't look as vulnerable. Nebraska could make CU look bad like CSU did yet the Buffs, with improvement, could look much better.
