Helton wasn't the only problem last year


Sam Darnold hangover. Very young roster. A lot of injuries forced true freshmen to play.

Not saying Helton is a great or even good coach, but Swann brought him back because making a bowl last year was very difficult under the circumstances. If the Trojans can stay healthy this year, they have talent to be pretty good.
