If you live here and hike in the mountains and know there are rattlesnakes on a particular trail, you are so careful to not get bitten you don't see anything around you.
If you're a visitor you aren't as worried about it because you are only taking the one hike and you enjoy it.
Point being---it's easier to pitch here once or twice a season as opposed to 15 starts or being a reliever 35 appearances. Knowing Coors Field could be a career changing place and thinking each pitch has to be perfect.
As an opposing hitter, you think you've gone to Disney World and are so excited to rake knowing you can add all kinds of stats.
I think the visitors have the advantage sometimes.
