6-12 yrs old, club soccer is biggest, 13-17, it's basketball & volleyball

I've seen when girls get introduced to volleyball around 7th grade, they flock to it. They draw bigger crowds in high school and college. Check the state tournaments or NCAA. Now that the NCAA has added beach volleyball, it's even more popular than it was. Soccer is huge, yes. But, club volleyball is enormous. Biggest club tournament of any kind in Colorado is the Colorado Crossroads, with teams coming from all over the country. Lots of tall girls, that's for sure.

World cup is the only place soccer outdraws basketball and volleyball.
