I just recently got my mom (grandma) hooked on it with the womens world cup. She now texts me all the time about it. Soccer is all about patience and build ups. Not to easy for the regular sports fan. I started to like watching hockey while I was in Sweden. Larger rinks and could see strategy and tactics. I never watch hockey here. Congrats to you. You should visit a European city -or Spain and experience what its like watching a game live. It gives you goosebumps just from the atmosphere and how crazy/passion the fans are for their teams.
