Stanley Cup

Terrific game last night. Binnington was amazing in goal.

As I watched it, I realized that it was the first entire NHL game I've watched all year. I also realized I didn't recognize hardly any of the players. Back in the 70s and 80s, I knew all the teams and players. Hell, I used to know every player on Gretzky's great Edmonton Oilers teams.

The quality of play is still amazing but I think I've grown away from the game I used to love. I wonder why?
