that the problem with viewership of women sports isn't because men aren't watching it's because women aren't watching. More men watch women sports than women do. I asked my wife what she thought about women's sports on tv or live and she said it didn't interest her one bit. And my wife was at every event our daughter ever played in and loved it. To me women's sports are second tier to men. I have to say I was starting to get interested in the World Cup event until politics came into play. I felt the same way about pro football so it isn't a women - men thing, it's just I want to see the passion of the game performed on the field and the hell with the interviews afterward.
