Nice homestead, kind of reminds me of the Blake Street .......
Bombers outscoring in a slugfest. If you remember we had a ton of walk offs and so so pitching back then. If you don't remember ask yourself who was our best pitcher back then. Now we go on the road. Will we be reminded that last years star pitcher is at AAA, or that when you travel you should bring your bats, or altitude adjustment is tougher than it sounds, or we won't have the last at bats. I still don't have a feel for this team because of the elephant in the room, pitching. Saying all that I marvel at watching Nolan Arenado at third base. I played the position and I do marvel at his work ethic. He's like a goalie in hockey with his glove but what is most impressive is his footwork and balance. Same could be said about Trevor Story playing on the outfield grass most the time. That's confidence in your ability to cover so much ground from that deep knowing you've got a cannon in the arsenal. But it's all about footwork and moving toward the target. Enough coaching, enjoy. I'm heading to New England to watch the Bruins today, later!
