Correct - The Fourth of July celebration is put on by the National Park Ser

vice, and it is for everyone, not just a campaign rally for Trump supporters. I've also been to several of these events, including the parade and the evening concert on the grounds of the Capitol, where the National Symphony plays, along with pop and rock acts. The fireworks are shot off from a barge in the Potomac, and the display goes over the Mall.
The attendance is estimated at about 1 million people, all spread throughout the mall and the grounds of the Capitol.
Now Trump has David Bernhardt, the acting Sec. of the Interior, directing the Park Service to change the entire event to be a campaign rally. I cannot imagine anything as egotistical as interfering with an event paid for by taxpayer dollars that is supposed to be for everyone. It is really shameful. This event is taxpayer-supported and is for the American people. - B4E
