Good list.

Bardem is fate personified as Anton Chigur.
Rutger as the replicant Roy Battey is on the edge of being an anti hero. His goal is to save the ones he loves, but lacks the emotional history to make moral and ethical distinctions. Probably my all time favorite scifi film.

To add, in no particular order:
-A. Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal Lector- cold, emotionless, genius and an elitist gormet cannibal. Hard to beat that performance.

-Christopher Waltz as Col. Hans Landa in Inglorious Basterds. Every scene with him you have that sour pit of impending doom in your stomach.

-Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber in Diehard. In the 'Love to Hate' category.

-Malcolm McDowell as Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange. A surreal Heavy in a surreal dystopia.

-Ray Fiennes as Amon Goth in Schindlers List. I hesitated to list this one, as this was a historical figure and there were certainly bigger historical bad guys, but Fiennes portrail of this real nazi functionary was just so chilling.

-Heath Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight. This was how this character was originally writen, not a campy cartoonish character, but a completely insane madman.

-Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith in The Matrix.

-Daniel Day Lewis as Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York. Another historical figure and I have no idea if the portrail was an accurate one, but compelling none the less.

-Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest. The only female on my list, but a good one. Passive aggressive tyrant.

-Darth Vader voiced by James Earl Jones. I fell out of love in the Star Wars saga long ago, but a classic villian that I would be remiss no to list.

On the lighter side-
-Thomas F. Wilson as Biff Tannen in Back to the Future. Everyone knew a Biff facsimile back in high school.
