I don't know what the turnover count was at end of game, but the "turnover kings' may have set a record. And when you get ahead by 15+ pts, you can shoot 3's until the cows come home when your opponent is turning the ball over. This is the #1 problem of this year's Buffs. There defense is strong, but they still don't know how to full-court press or how to use the double-team. That needs to improve. But offense, needs to come up with a new system. Too much passing at times.
Walton "could" be a factor with his height, but his first year he was like "Mills 101" no real skill or hands. If he hasn't improved, and can bulk up, get some strong inside shooting skills, he can be a factor. We need some tall big meat inside. Bey will be outstanding and if he keeps developing could turn pro. I fear Wright may be peaking. He's the main ball handler, and if he height would be leading rebounder. But he seems to be trying to over-perform, and commits too many turn overs for his ball handling skills. Same for Swartz, too many turn overs. Seifert and Strating need to be taught about better ball handling and defense. They're strong players, especially Stratting, but need more hand to ball skills. CU has depth at guard, and needs to recruit some big forwards or post player. But Boyle always likes guards. Performance and improvement this year suggest a top 3 league finish and NCAA pick next year. Wonder how much CU will raise my ticket prices after 30 years?
