It's all subjective now with NCAA
The new rules state that a player can be granted a waiver to play right away if he can show "documented mitigation circumstances" that the change of schools was made to better impact his "health, safety and well-being." This subjective rule is a joke. They can say yes or no based on anything. Having ohio st good in football is good for the B1G and NCAA so of course he will be eligible. I do however like that it helps the athlete. Just not convinced it will help all athletes on an even playing field ie. school, position, and how highly ranked they are.
